First up is this virtually as new Hamstead Ascent Clean boost.

All sorts of info about it here, and Andy appears to give it the thumbs up.

Acquired in a trade a couple of months back but, cool bit of kit as it is, I'm strictly a home noodler, have ZERO use for a clean boost and need to get a few quid in the GAS tank for something else.

Next up is this much used, vintage JEN wah pedal.

Acquired on here a couple of moths back, but try as I might I cannot disconnect my hands and my feet and am having to give my porn soundtrack career a serious re-think.  Has a chickened knobbed boost control on the side.

@bbill335 put up a decent audio sample before selling it to me, and the interested funkateer can hear it here.

By way of an exciting update, after responding to Viewers Queries, and with careful scientific experimentation in laboratory conditions (and after a double take when I couldn't get a sound out of the thing, resolved by the forensic application of a new 9v Duracell), I can now reveal that:

1. No scratchiness when bow-chicka-wow-wowing away.  Smooth and easy.

2. The knob on the side is a volume boost, pushing to a bit of break up at full rotation, at least in the wee amp I used in said laboratory.

it's actually a SHO boost circuit from fuzzdog, at zero is unity and it has plenty of boost available should one need it. i know because i put it there!

good news and kind of a relief . I was gassing on it as I didn't have a green fasel in my dozen or so wahs but was at risk of just being a collecter or hoarder
