Back in the 90s all the guitarists I was into played Ibanez - Satriani, Vai, Petrucci etc. I really wanted an Ibanez!
No clue as to the rest ....
I could probably make out the names at the bottom if I tried but I don't recognise anyone.
For what it's worth, there are two people I couldn't name when I found it this afternoon - but I wouldn't have known who they were at the time, either. I think I've got albums featuring all the other players in the picture.
@Philly_Q - maybe this Charvel/Jackson ad would make you buy a guitar
It's making me wonder what happened to the Guitar World annual Buyer's Guide with pictures of glamour models awkwardly holding guitars and sprawling over amps. The 2021 edition probably has a scowling Frances McDormand on the cover, to make you feel guilty for being so frivolous.
This'll do

The 1990s had great adverts
Everyone started on an Aria.....
All that said, I do like pictures of the workshop or factory where the guitars are made, and I hate, hate, hate those ridiculous grainy black and white or sepia images of a romanticised workshop from the 1910s for guitars you know perfectly well are turned out in a big modern factory full of CNC machines, or an anonymous sweat-shop somewhere in China.
TLDR: forget the advertising. Just make good guitars. People will find them eventually.
