Kingtone Duellist V2, using TRS cable to split the sides

Does anyone know exactly how you’d set up the V2 Duellist with TRS cables and a switcher, to split the two sides of the pedal and be able to change the stacking order? I know the first bit is to set the internal switch in the pedal from dual mode to split mode. I presume that then turns the pedal’s input socket into a TRS input and output for the right hand side, and the output socket into a TRS input and output for the left side. So then I guess you need a TRS to 2xTR cable for each side, plug the TR ends into your switcher, plug your guitar into the switcher input and your amp into the switcher output and away you go. 

I’m sat in Tyreland waiting for my car to be sorted, hence I’ve got the time for these ramblings...!

I have googled it but not found anything specifically about how to do this. Any advice much appreciated, thanks.
