Debut for the Laney Ironheart Matin Miller pedal this afternoon/evening at George IV in Sawbridgeworth. Not entirely sure it's wise gigging it before rehearsing with it, but what the hell, it makes the rig marginally more compact, which is useful given the postage stamp size of the venue.

I'm singing and playing piano (maybe one guitar song) as a support slot this evening for a local band called The Kings of Spain, at a wonderful community owned cafe type thing called the Moseley Hive, in Moseley, Birmingham.

Completely unamplified gig! I'll be singing and playing mostly my own songs, couple of covers maybe. Just trying to get some practice and experience in front of actual people and trying to find my niche to eventually do my own gigs.

7pm, free entry but donations are welcome. You can bring your own drinks (Co Op opposite also) or I think they sell cans of things there too.

The Verticals are on at the Swan Inn, Stone Staffordshire on Saturday night. It'll be our first outing since Christmas so I'm very much looking forward to it.
