Love the rosewood-looking one. Is it rosewood? That'd look amazing with blocks.

Thanks! Have an HH on the bench at the mo, will be done in a couple weeks, no metallic yet just the sparkle finishes. I think I'd do a metallic in a similar way though just with smaller flake.

Yeah it really looks rosewood doesnt it!

It's Obeche body with a maple neck, but with a stain I mixed up and carefully dyed the lot, then finished it off with a clear satin lacquer. So unlike the Harrison this one weighs 7lb

Ahhh mine is the rosewood/ walnut  looking one. I will do a proper post at some point but so far really blown away. It's so bloody good.  Thanks again Elliott.

That shape has really grown on me.

At first I thought "yup, looks good, but not my thing".  Now I look at it and don't get past "yup"!

Is that a familiarity thing?  Have my don't-really-like-anything-new eyes got used to it, recognise it, and don't think "new" anymore?
