Be interesting to see the England Germany match, I think it's interesting that Germany seem to be getting flack for not being at the top of their game, whereas with England they seem to not be at the top of their game either but that's just because we haven't got going yet. I think you'll see a very different Germany in that knockout match

But there is some serious talent in that team. I do wonder what they could have achieved with a better coach.

I've never seen either of them play to be honest so I'm probably talking out my arse but you never know
Seems to me that these Johnny Foreigners really don't know how to play the game. Either that, or they're playing a different game, which really won't be fair on England. Come to think of it, the Scots tried the same underhand tactics too, but that's hardly surprising.
This didn't happen just once or twice - both teams were doing it throughout the game. The ref took no notice.
Firstly, players on one team would kick the ball - deliberately - towards the other team's goal. Sometimes it was directly at the goal, and sometimes it was just to another player on the same team who was closer to the goal.
Secondly, players often ran with the ball (kicking it, obviously), past players on the other team, usually to get closer to the goal!
And finally, when a player from one team had the ball, a player from the other team would try to take it away from them. "Tackling".
Since when have things like that been allowed? I've been watching the England games for a while, and I don't remember English players using such dodgy tactics. It's practically cheating.
If other teams don't play by the same rules, what hope have poor England got against them?
Or Portugese.
Or German.
Or Italian.
Possibly even Welsh.
He just wants to play for a side that's got a chance of winning a trophy.
My friend asked me if I was going to watch the game, and I expected loads of questions about what I liked after which is why I watched the highlights, but then he never said anything about it haha.
They're the number 1 ranked team in the world, seems they're doing something right.
