Pickford is terrible - how we haven't conceded a goal in tournament is beyond me.

I disagree. I think Pickford is good for England. Everyone has a ropey moment here and there but largely he’s solid and the lack of goals conceded is in part because of how he commands the defence. It’s been a bit of a different story for Everton this last season though.

I take back some of my previous comments and fair play to us we played well, I was actually quite impressed for once. I think Ukraine flattered us somewhat, and Denmark are a better team but it's a winnable match. Italy in the final will be a tough gig though, they've got quality enough to hurt us.

After years of being consistently disappointed, I hope they can keep my optimism going. I'm not expecting them to win, just want to see the effort whatever the result.

It’s fairly simple, he’s saved every shot he’s had to?

I’m not a massive fan usually but he certainly grows in an England shirt.

Italy v Belgium was some of the best football I’ve ever seen, granted I’ve not watched loads and loads and loads of games over the years. There was a sequence near a Belgian corner where they simply toyed around with the ball for a few 5-10 seconds and the Belgians couldn’t possibly keep up.

They are good enough to do an Iceland on us - I’m so glad we started the second half the way we did , it was a great 20-25 minutes

The only fault tonight was when Pickford came out and ballsed it up.

This is a tesm that has been getting better, playing more cohesively and to a plan, in which the players and systems can shift to meet the challenge. 

Hats off to Southgate and his backroom team, they have done a goid job so far. With two semifinals I think he may be the second best England coach after Sir Alf.

Denmark ought to be very winnable. But they are playing well and have great team spirit.

I think England have a good squad, lots of players at the same level but giving different options. Southgate has now rotated well and given most players some time.

Looking forward to the semi!

You don’t think that Germany are a test but Denmark are?

Denmark lost to the first and only elite team they played, Belgium.

They look good but they look good against Wales, Czech Republic. Hardly elite teams. 

It’ll be a difficult game but Denmark aren’t Germany.
