WTB: MIJ Les Paul

Hydra19Hydra19 Frets: 321
I'm looking for a japanese high end Les Paul guitar, something with a flame burst.
I have some options but would like to see if there are any in the UK already.
I'm looking for an 80's Tokai LS-80 or above, Greco EGF's, Crews, Navigator...
Budget is around £1700

Not located in UK (but close) and I'll be listing soon my Edwards Pure Material (some say Navigator in disguise..;)

Need in the UK so I don't pay UK tax, otherwise I already have a lead on a Navigator in the EU

Look at the Red String shop on reverb where there is an LS360 which is probably open to a bit of negotiation.

Thank you, the tokai ls390 looks nice enough but it is just over my budget at the moment.
I don't know much about Tokai Les pauls, except that the early ones are the most sought after.

Yes, but it's gone. It was nice but had some scratches on the headstock.
Other option is a nice navigator but I wouldn't get to play it for at least 4 months. That would too hard to bear

Fair enough.  The modern ones are very well put together and the one at Red String is for sale at about half new price....

There's a nice Yamaha Lord Player with the open book headstock on Facebook marketplace, chap called "Tommy Chalk" selling it. No affiliation but considered it before buying my Greco.
