Have you played one before Jon?

They are stunning but they are massive and take a bit of getting used to...

I love mine, I'm 6ft 2" and I still think it's massive, but lots of smaller players seem to manage, Malcolm Young, Sylvain Slyvain etc

I would definitely try one first, I have one which is a players edition and rarely play it, its just not comfortable, love it though and very sentimental so not for sale,

I have a 6118T LIV Anniversary Model. Big, cream (ivory), fully hollow but a wee bit thinner body. Amazing, lovely neck, great sounds, perfect for me.

I considered and really GASed for a White Falcon for some time but decided too big. Too much bling. The 6118T is beautiful without being gaudy. It now has a Chet Atkins bar which suits my style and hand shape/size much better than the standard paddle fitted in the pic below.

I have the same Guitar - Sounds great and is now my main guitar in a covers band. Feedback has been manageable through a Marshall style amp.

    Excellent guitar.

I had one, changed the Powertrons for a TV Classic Plus set, my preferred pickups.

One of my favourite guitars, ever!!

Don't really know why so many people comment on size saying ' Oh, yeah ,but they're massive.......still not as big and bulky as most acoustic guitars and thousands of people are perfectly comfortable with one of those on stage '
Of course,if you've been playing a tele it's going to feel strange for 5 minutes but you very quickly get used to it

Agreed! I am vertically challenged and played acoustic and classical guitar all the time. No big deal sitting down.

I think they are fantastic guitars and definitely one that gets that Gretsch sound in your head.

I actually think that most of the sonic benefits of hollow bodies come with the bigger bodies. Otherwise I much rather play a comfortable small solid guitar.
