I'm reluctantly selling my beautiful 1964 Melody Maker as I have just agreed to buy a really cool mid 60's Ricky and I can't afford to keep everything! This guitar is simply stunning....
the lacquer checking, the hot sounding single coil, the great two-tone finish. It's all original apart from one pickguard screw and the truss cover which should be 1 ply I believe. Harness looks untouched and there are no breaks or repairs. Original croc case. It sounds every bit as good as any 50's Jr (I've owned a few) and it's an affordable way in to the vintage world. Superb playability, original frets are fine. Asking £2000 but feel free to offer close to that. Thanks!
