Beautiful ash bodied 1978 Fender Keef as purchased by me from notom last year. As is typical, this isn’t a lightweight at 9 1/2 lbs, but if your back doesn’t mind, you get stonking tone from the brilliant cunife wide range humbucker (worth a small fortune on their own) and classic tele bridge tone. This is a well built example without a huge gap in the neck pocket etc which is typical of late 70s fenders. In my view, it’s a goodun.
I’ve priced this at a substantial discount to what I paid and frankly way less than I’ve seen any other late 70s teles, which have jumped in price.
From what I know, this has a non original case and a stripped finish (notom believed it was Olympic white originally), but it’s had a great set up, frets have tonnes of life and it’ll make someone a great versatile gigging or studio guitar as well as being a superb investment, given the never ending rise in vintage prices.
Im based in Chatham but happy to post at the buyers expense.
Im looking for a sale due to the fact I’ve agreed to buy the rather lovely DGT on here. I might consider though a PRS 594 or a PRS studio as a trade, but ideally I’m looking to sell. There aren’t any other guitars/amps/pedals that I’m interested in. Full pic folder below.
