I must say, for the price, and the size, it ought to be Stereo.

On paper it has the same BB MN3005 chip as the RKM Tonal Recall too, same 1100ms delay time.  Smaller footprint.

.....the weirdest thing about the Discovery is that it might just mean that a Suhr pedal other than the Riot makes its way onto TPS. Though might be a bit complicated for Mick with all those lights and displays!!

  • I’m not super sure what this odd doing over other analogue delays. This is where a good comparison world be great, are there huge differences between them?

I don't think so, the new GFI Skylar in half the size for £200 is Stereo.

Stereo is overrated outside the bedroom…

@WiresDreamDisasters i thought of you as soon as I saw it but wanted to let you discover on your own..!

It’s definitely top of my to-try list already. I wondered when someone would do something properly analog but with this level of digital control and full-featured. AND it looks like it came out of the Delorean, which is amazing

Pete Thorn's biggest problem, is that everything sounds so damn good.

Yes the pedal sounds great, but he would also make a £100 pedal sound that good.

It's hard to differentiate what he makes sound good, and what is actually good!

Not a complaint, his channel/playing is generally amazing

That's a digital reverb pedal though right?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I am more referring to the fact that they fit it in a smaller enclosure rather than digital/analogue.

Unless there is a specific restriction that to get Stereo for analogue you need even larger enclosure?

    Yikes at the price.

What other delays have built-in limiters? Genuinely think that’s a great feature but never really investigated it as I normally have a limiter at the end of my pedal chain anyway.
Skreddy Echo did it years ago and sounds way better

I don't really understand this product, the presets etc are cool for live performance and can definitely see the utility there where you don't want to fiddle with knobs between songs. For home use? It's a straightforward delay, you surely could just dial in what you need in a few seconds. The raw sounds? There is better, for cheaper. Hell even get a real big box DMM for around the same money and enjoy some ROI if you decide to sell it.

It’s a bit like the Eventide Rose for me, it’s so near to being straight up simple with but with lots of ability to tweak but then becomes too fiddly on presets and expression pedal set up, and etc. Who the hell needs 127 presets when then knob positions don’t change and you can’t name them you’d have to have an epic memory - give me 5 presets with 5 top panel buttons to access them.
