Still no luck, it comes up saying body is required

That original "how to" thread is probably long overdue an update.

Not because of any changes to the forum/software but just because the various hosts keep on changing their sites/processes and I'm not sure that iOS still works the same as when those help notes were prepared.

Could probably do with something along the lines of;
- for each major host
- for PC, OSX, tablet & phones
- a simple step-by-step set of instructions to guide people through the upload and embed process.

What do you think?

I've been thinking exactly the same, @TTony .  The Imgur thread especially is clogged up with test posts, and the instructions aren't actually correct (in that they point towards the HTML link, instead of the direct link).

@koss59 - you don't say which host you're using, but the general principles are:

• Copy the Direct Link (the one ending in .jpg)
• Don't paste directly into the body of the thread; use the attachment tool (paper with folded corner).  (That should ensure that the image is properly embedded for both desktop and mobile users.)
• If you're on mobile, you may need to hit space to make the image appear.

Thanks for your help chaps but even following the advice above still gives me zero results.
I’m trying with imgur at the moment but have tried others too.

Are you volunteering? The existing thread works for the hardware and software that I have access to, and imgur hosting. I’m happy to remove all the test posts
