Sold: SC Relics Paisley / Rosewood T-Type

Up for grabs is an SC relics iteration of a ‘68 Paisley T-Type guitar made for me earlier this year. I had always been a fan of the Pink-to-Gold aged body but having stumbled across a couple of images of rare examples with a rosewood board last Christmas, I was totally blown away. So I wasted no time and had Scott make me that very same combo and the result is this gorgeous example. Aside from the pickguard and Montys Retrovibe pickups all parts come from SC Relics including all of the aged hardware. The wait for this was painful but the end result made it completely worthwhile. In total this set me back nearly £1200 all-in but it exudes quality far, far beyond that price point. Tonally, it delivers exactly what you would expect from any high-end instrument and is a testament to Scott’s workmanship. Having had the pleasure of ownership, it’s no surprise to me that he’s a very busy chap.

This is quite a reluctant sale (other factors in life have conspired against me keeping this) so trades are off the menu. I will let it go for £950 no less (ppg or bank transfer). Price includes insured overnight shipping within the UK and it will come with a brand new PRS gig bag included at no extra cost.

TBH I’m not entirely sure - I’m really no authority on telecasters but I would describe it reasonable chunky and somewhere between a D and C profile. I will get my callipers on it and take some measurements this evening.

Coda have a Galuzska master-built  '68 Paisley tele for a mere £5,500 ..................doesn't look as nice as this but it may even play a bit better !
