I was really impressed by the presentation of this. I also tend to agree with the technique although I try a bit of everything when trying to speed up.

Really useful thanks - I'm working on something now that has a 'fast' (for me) section, it's really helpful to understand the difference between open and closed loops and that practising it forever slow won't help.

Big fan of chunking here, looks a good lesson , I’m going to watch it tomorrow as I’m off to bed now, but it looks good. I split solos into chunks , then split those chunks into smaller chunks etc , tricky bits can be gone back to once you have the feel of it and work to a metronome to refine it
