The wrong kind of bubbly

Finishing my home build tele body, all of the primer sealer went well
After applying an early finishing colour coat of nitro paint, I thought I'd leave the body in the hot sun to bake. (????)
After a while I noticed the paint bubbling up in places.
It seems that all the bubbles are where I used a little wood filler to fix some dents. The primer sealer has lifted.
I guess the baking was a bad idea. Or maybe not.
I'm hoping it won't bubble next time after I've sanded it back to bare wood again.
Did I do wrong?
