FS 2020 gibson les paul special TV yellow with bare knuckles true grit p90s

What's Hot
Bought this from Adam Peter a few months back and I love it to bits but I need to make way for a full fat les paul. I am putting a link to Adams original post as I don't have any pictures at the minute and his has a link to pictures. It has a set of bare knuckle true grit p90's installed currently and will come with the original pickups. £1100 posted to reflect the extra pickups.

I've already got an LP Special TV Yellow which I love, so can't buy yours, sorry. However I'm intrigued that yours has Bare Knuckle P90s. What do they bring that the stock Gibson P90s don't have?

They have a bit more grunt and a bit more clarity especially in the neck position. The stock pickups are great though.

That's useful to know, thanks. I find the stock neck pickup to be a bit wooly, although I seldom use it. I'll try playing with the height, and if that doesn't work, I might consider the BKs.

You can deffo get rid of some of the wool by lowering the pickup and raising the crap out of the pole pieces. The bare knuckles are deffo clearer though. I wouldn't say either are a bad sound just different and some people really dig the stock sound. In an ideal world i would be keeping it but i don't think i want to sell my les paul classic and I haven't ever ben able to garner interest in my 2012 strat.

Thanks @Evildurka. I'll have a go at that later on. Good luck with the sale.

Among the solid bodies, I would agree. I gigged my ES-335 last night because I was guilty about favouring my Special recently.
