Hook and loop stupid question

Hi all, 

Are different brands of hook and loop compatible with one another?  

I used the hook and loop that came with the pedal train.  But building a second board and need some more and want to ensure I can swap things around - I would say if needed, but you know within 10 of the build it will turn into let’s swap this around.  

The pedal train tape isn’t expensive but just wondering if this is an issue.

I reckon it’ll be fine mate. 

I am basing this off of having used the pedal trains furry velcro to, well line the pedaltrain with, and I then use genuine heavy duty velcro (the hook side) for actually sticking to the bottom
of my pedals. 

Tis a big board, and I could lift the entire thing by an individual pedal without it seperating.
