Modded schaller boost pedal - repair.

What's Hot
Part of a job lot of guitar pedals I recently picked up, it's a vintage Schaller booster but it's be modded with two additional wires running from the casing.

I would like to convert it back to stock as far as I can any ideas thanks.

  • The non-original cables look like a send/return insert loop. The one remaining screw down terminal looks like it attaches to something chunky and immovable - such as an electronic organ.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Thanks , found the picture below of a non modded one .  Could I remove the non original wires and reattach a 9v battery Clip , from the pictures it looks like the live wire from the clip would attach to where the brown wires are currently ?

I stand corrected. What you have on your modified Schaller Booster is an external power supply connection.

FWIIW, the terminal on the end of one of the non-original cables resembles a connector on one of those organ pedals illustrated in one of your other Discussions.

Thanks, will connect a 9v clip to the blue and brown wires and hopefully it will work.

  • Just had a chance to remove the non original wires and install a battery clip and it all works as it should.

Amazing sounding unit has both a treble boost plus a varirone control on the front which allows you to dial in some sub / Synth bass tones.

    Thanks again for the help
