Guitarist, composer and singer Michael Chapman has died. He was 80.
A tremendous acoustic player with a fine discography.  His 3rd album for Harvest, "Window", still sounds luminously beautiful.
R.I.P.

  • I saw him play in 2012 with Dean McPhee and he was excellent, a quality entertainer with a lot of quality interaction with the audience.

    A fantastic guitarist, RIP.

Saw him several times over the years, a great & underrated musician.
Fully Qualified Survivor is an excellent album & also has the late Mick Ronson playing too.
    RIP.

That's a name I'd forgotten. He was playing support to The Edgar Broughton Band at the 2nd gig I ever went to in 1970. Then I saw him once or twice after that.

    Very sad news.

    It's not a competition.
