Anyone having problems with loading times & refreshing issues on the site?

Like it says on the tin.
Been going on for most of today (10/10/21) issues loading & refreshing & 30 plus second delays.
Could just be me & my setup... but it's only happening on this site.

Always, the first link I click on fails to load. Go back and click again, straight in. Just the first time. Been like that for a couple of weeks.

OK, so there's no link in ISP - of you guys having issues, that's BT, Plusnet (same as me) and a VPN.

There's nothing weird in the logs.

Browser extensions conflicting with the site, maybe? That'd be odd, because we don't have any fancy stuff running here, except Google Analytics.

I’ve experienced this both yesterday and today. It was as if the site was offline. I was accessing from my mobile Android / Chrome) on 3. Other sites (BBC) were loading fine at the same time.

Yes but sporadically with BT and on an iPad if that helps?

Actually I’m experiencing slow reloads right now in BT with iPad.

OK, that's weird. I've looked through the logs, and there's nothing untoward - the web cluster and database server are responding just fine.

I've got a couple of things I can try, but they'll need downtime...and it's launch week for my employer, so it's unlikely I'll get time to experiment until the weekend.

Fairly typical, since experiencing the issues & reporting them... everything has been absolutely fine & hunky dory.

Which bug?

The most recent issues were because of a DoS attack.

I was thinking it may be connected to an issue I've been experiencing where you try to get access but in order to do so you have to first satisfy an "I am not a robot" test. I would think that's more a Google issue, though, but annoying

That's not a bug, it's by design. Doesn't always ask you for the non-robot test, but it will do sometimes.
