    That board looks tasty @Creed_Clicks ;

just checking: is this your small board, or your nano one?
Small one! Could it be considered small? I don't have a big one!

Phew, if it was your nano board I’d be having nightmares about your large board  =)

I'm on a Nano +. It takes some messing about to make things neat and get the in and out where you want them but I wouldn't want one any bigger. I used to have this set up with the hx stomp in place of the JSA trem and reverb but it made the broadcast unviable and I don't like to be without it

Pics of above as when I went to edit my comment it deleted the pictures and won't let me add them back in.

Looks like a neat little setup - Timmy and Zendrive ?
    Red ones are better.

Me? Apologies if not, if so then yes.
Simon's take on a Tim rather than a Timmy and his take on a zen drive, both with a load of tweaks I don't pretend to understand. I've got a dual pedal on the way that will put both in one enclosure then he can have these back, they're courtesy pedals if you will.

I’ve just looked up JSA - hadn’t been aware of him/them before

Yep, it's just Simon and his cat but he / they make great stuff, among loads of other brilliant people in the UK doing the same. I just always turn to him because I enjoy dealing with him so much. There's a demo of the hot toddy which is the Tim style pedal on our youtube channel here  if you want a bit more info and sounds and so on.

This is as small as it gets and is a significant step down from 3 fuzz pedals, two delays, a wah, a phaser and an extra overdrive or two, in addition to the above. The wiring is stressing me out though, will have to get some lower profile patch leads as this looks far too untidy!

Not small. Nice, but that’s a yellow card :)

I love the Soundlad Liverpool stuff. Never got into his fuzzes as I do t like Bug Muffs but I've got a scran and a clean machine which are both brilliant

I think this is my favourite thread on the entire forum.

Anyone can make a monster board that never has to go anywhere. Tiny boards need thought and compromise.

Finally got what i thought would be the ideal pedal for the left hand side today so have put all these on my Sainsbury's wooden serving tray board with handles that i got recently for £22 as it looked like it would make a nice portable board. Nothing is stuck down yet as I'm not sure what order to have things and how best to arrange them.

This is meant to be my "weird" board/fx chain for rocking out to 00s indie and Jack White stuff - deliberately unusual sounds to get me away from my playing cliches when i play my more tasteful main setup.

Anyway, the TC Electronic Honey Pot was supposed to complete the board with Big Muff sounds, it arrived today but it does not sound good! The gain is not explosive like a muff and is quite woolly, everything needs to be on full which is then too much volume. So i think that will be going back and I'll have a rethink. I have some cheap mini pedals i can sub in instead but I'm not sure just yet

I'm also not so sure about the green one which is a Dod Gonkulator copy, it's a decent sounding thing but not sure it stacks very well. I may need to mess with the Tonex input level a bit as well - it's on an Amalgam Marshal Superlead capture. Tonex powered by a phone battery power bank
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player,  a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Every now and again I go back to the beginning of this thread and work my way forward (I'm not right in the head)
This is the latest board, not sure if It counts as small/mini/nano though. There is a Simplifier DLX off board but thats my amp at the moment, bloody cables are a nightmare as well. So many options with the DLX that my head is hurting.

Made a little tap tempo for the Flashback. Apart from wanting to add a TR-2, this this little thing makes me seriously happy.

…did a yolo. The lovepedal stays on as my crunch channel when I don’t have a Marshall amp, so that’s perfectly ok to not be able to reach quickly.

This is now just one delay short of my old pedaltrain jr setup. Everything I need for gigs & more.

With this FAT board, a Strat, and an amp of the edge of break-up, anything is possible !!

The eneloop is charging, it'll run for weeks once charged

It dawned on me this month that I’ve played far more gigs with the ‘B’ board than my main rig. Also I didn’t like running the front end on batteries. So I’ve added a Cioks Sol underneath and a second Line 6 HX One. These babies are incredibly powerful. I also added a plastic guard to the power selector after accidentally kicking it down to 1 watt.

All in all it’s an amazing little rig. This runs to either my own Marshall 1922 or whatever cabs the venue has. But it’s plenty loud in 20 watt mode.
