I think I'm going to narrow down even further and go with the options in the top row. Ones below were also in the running. I may switch the Timmy to the Lightspeed at the last minute. I'm dithering.

I tweaked it - but this time it’s wired and powered not virtual.

btw neither end is about to drop off - it’s a weird parallax thing with the phone camera

    Red ones are better.

How do you find the Broadcast?

I’ve only just discovered those in YT vids and they sound great.

The 12 Step is triggering an Alesis Nanobass for Moogy bass sounds

Took a bit of tweaking for me to love it - the internal gain trimpot really changes the sound.  I’ve got the trim pot set so the lower gain is crunchy with a nice hint of fuzziness and the high gain is pretty much full on gated fuzz.  I’ve had a reshuffle recently - pics to follow - and discovered that it also sounds fantastic with a klon clone (Arc Effects Klone) pushing it.

Nice! I keep occasionally wondering about doing something similar but with, say, organ drones or something.

The 12 Step is not as tactile as bigger pedals like the Roland PK5 or Studiologic jobbies but it's really compact, highly versatile and a seriously useful bit of kit.

Just sizing up a custom board for a beginner friend, who's currently doing everything through a Fly...

Those Harley Benton pedals are actually pretty damn good. RAT, Riot and a general-purpose modulation pedal. The Aquarius is actually a pretty decent Flashback-alike, too. The whole lot, including the Harley Benton ISO-1 Pro power supply and a set of Boss solderless cables but minus the tuner which I had lying around, came to less than £200, and it definitely punches above its weight class.

Didn’t know HB did pedals. The Rodent looks suspiciously like a Mooer Black Secret to me, which by all accounts are great.

I'm relieved that you switched the chorus and delay around.

Quite happy with this little set up. This is my only board now, I used to have a Pedaltrain Jr sized board but I can’t fill boards that big with things I need unless I just buy big pedals!

The Valeton GP-5 is being used for a tuner on this set up but obviously can be moved around the board if I want to use some effects or amp modelling. Great bit of kit...

Back down to the Nano again…

Chorus and Delay are in the amp’s loop.

If I could get a HX One to fit I think I’d put that in place of the Chorus. But I don’t think it will.

Oh, unless I ditched the tuner and used an HX One for that too…
