Just that minor detail, really.

But seriously, someone must've done that on purpose... why?!

Someone really wanted a guitar that can’t be played in tune?

The pickup, machineheads and truss rod cover might be worth having.

For the rest, it’s only a couple of weeks to bonfire night…

To paraphrase Douglas Adams, three reasons.
    1) Ignorance
    2) Stupidity
    3) Nothing else.

Typical example of a vast multitude of eBay sellers who (to quote Oscar Wilde) know “The price of everything and the value of nothing”.

Probably picked up from a bootsale on Sunday and eBay listed on Monday, with no other thought than It’s old = Money

There’s a bootsale scutter not too far from me who, when selling (invariably naff, badly described and overpriced) electric guitars, uses the phrase ”powers up OK”. :D

The missing string is concerning. Would I be able to find a Kawai branded replacement?

I do like that people are finally recognising that adding some reference to the Kawai brand really does add huge value to a guitar.
    :+1:

I've seen some of the decent Kawai electrics advertised at what I would have considered to be very optimistic prices recently.    Way more than I paid for mine ....
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Just admit you’re not man enough to play it! Give it to Seasick Steve and he’d make a number one album with it

I’d buy it myself to show you all but I ummmmmmmmm, I don’t like the colour  3

Should be categorised under Spares Or Repair. Those old machineheads might be salvageable.

What baffles me is that someone must have put a fair bit of work into relocating the bridge -- they've even neatly cut a hole out of the scratchplate -- but why? What were they thinking? Was it some sort of avant garde music project for creating microtonal effects?

And like the truss rod cover, are unusual and very hard to find if you do actually need one.

I'd certainly pay a tenner for them.
