Sterling Music Man Locking Tuner not working..

This guitar is less than a Year Old..
It is a Sterling Music Man John Petrucci..
It has had Elixirs sitting on it since I restrung it when new..
On the D String,,The spinning Tuner lock will not tighten down and after several twists,it still pulls right out..
If the thread has destroyed that easily the cheapest Squier uses more solid hardware..
I took the tuner off the guitar being careful not to destroy the plasticine screws..
It still didn't work..Same problem...
I can't even remember what shop I bought it from,My memory is terrible..
Is this fixable,,to be honest,the guitar is OK,but since I modified a Strat I much prefer that..

I bought it from Dawsons in Novermber 2020,guess what..
No more Dawsons..
The Sterling dealer seemed to be Strings and Things,so I phoned them..
I think a tuner is on it's way..

It was nearly £800 I hardly ever play the thing..
Really nice finish,I think that is what tempted me..

£800 seems a bit excessive for a tuner.
