Refinish on a Status

The bass player in my band has a Status 3000 that plays great, but looks a bit tatty.

He would like to get it tidied up (fret dressed etc) and possibly refinished. 

Any recommendations of where to take it?

He's Suffolk based like me.

Status Graphite are just down the road in Colchester, when I have contacted them before they have been really obliging, could they help?

Sorry I should add he's already been in contact with them and while they can do it (and I'm sure would do a good job) they charge £170 just for a setup so it would doubtless be staggeringly expensive.

OK, it's been a little while since I had any dealings with them.  I have used http://www.spectrumguitarfinishes.co.uk/ for a neck re-fin on a cherished Strat and he did a very good job.
