That's really a great looking Les Paul. I had a black Pro like that years ago. I sold it because it was a Norlin era model that must have weighed 13-14 pounds. Maybe not quite that, but it was a boat anchor.

  • That is really bloody nice , I’m not keen on the bigs yet if I were buying it for myself but it looks great ,congratulations on such a lovely guitar. I really like the cream pickguard , pickups and poker chip  and defo the aged looking switch tip . It’s perfect . Prefer it to all black . Well done

Yes, I love the look of the Pro Deluxe but the Norlin ones can certainly be seriously weighty.

This is actually a pretty lightweight Les Paul Classic (2018) in origins. So a "Pro Deluxe" clone. I modded the Classic in numerous ways to get the look I wanted.

There's a few tracks I do where I like a little wiggle, so I like Bigsbys for that. To me the Bigsby helps make this particular one complete.

Impressive, my 2018 Classic was over 10.5lbs...! Sustained forever though.

This combines 3 things I normally really don't like:
    • Black guitars (unless a custom with gold fittings) as just too dull
    • I'm not a great fan of P90's (esp P90's on a LP) because of aesthetics and noise (although I quite like the tone)
    • Bigsby trems big, ugly, heavy & leaves holes if you take it off
....but you know what, the mixture of black with nickel hardware & the white P90's, pick guard and poker chip i think I could definitely live with that one - it kind of works in that it's more than the some of its parts.

I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

Nice. Definitely like the overall vibe and think the bigsby and P90s are a good visual match.

If it was mine I’d have black p/u covers and switch selector ring (I refuse to call it a poker chip :s). No scratchplate either.

  • I've seen the LP classics with all black parts and I actively don't like them, this looks a ton better with the white guard and pickups.

I'm after a P90 guitar and this floats my boat 100% (sans Bigsby for me, though).
