SOLD to a very nice forumite

A cracking little guitar, plays as good as any Junior I have ever owned, the Lollar P90 can rip your face off or give you some warm jazz tone, the tone and volume on this work really well and all the hardware is top notch. Comfortable biggish neck great fretwork.

Not that it makes it special but interestingly I bought this from a session guy who got it solely for use on a session for ex Kasabian singer Tom Meighan Reading between the lines I reckon it was paid for by Tom and the guy got to keep it. He told me he picked as the best of a bunch of 5 at Project Music.

Great guitars these, I have the double cut version. Lovely one piece body on them, very resonant.

  • Would you like to trade that guitar for a 1981 fender champ?
I brought it from Mike S who is a member here.
It is really a silver face internally, but has the blackface appearance. Apparently hand wired and 6 watts.
I have upgraded the speaker, and had some mods done to it. It has spring reverb, a boost switch and a fat switch for single coils.

  • I hear it's a chunky neck - is that right?
0reaction image LOL 0reaction image Wow! 0reaction image Wisdom
  • pruddprudd Frets: 682
Yes, fairly chunky, maybe a touch bigger than a Wide Fat PRS but not as big as a Huber Krautster or Orca. Certainly not an unwieldy size.

  • Is the neck a similar size to a Gibson 50’s neck, or is it smaller?

I'd say that yes, it is similar, but not as 'clubby'.

Seriously considering withdrawing this, will give it another week at £900. Been playing it today and enjoying it, if only I didn't need the cash =)
