SOLD - Fender ‘57 Custom Tweed Champ

2019 Fender Tweed Champ. All hand wired with finger jointed pine cabinet and lacquered tweed covering.

I aways wanted to try one of these but unfortunately I’m not getting along with it as well as I’d hoped. It’s still very loud for 5 watts and there’s no sensible way of cranking it in my current situation. Having said that, It does have a beautiful and articulate clean tone with the dial on 3-4. To be honest I’m not sure I’m really a fan of the midrange tweed tonality.

The amp is in mint condition with original box, manual, hang tag and canvas cover. 

It’ll come with a new Gold Lion 6V6 fitted but will include the original GT 6V6.

A Traditional or ‘72 Custom style Telecaster

Tone King Gremlin Head or similar low watt Blackface style head/combo.

Marshall DSL1CR 2 channel 1 watt valve amp. 

Great sounding Marshall tones at lower volumes but still loud for a 1 watt. It also has a 0.1 watt power reduction switch at the rear along with a 16 ohm speaker out, emulated line out, audio in and FX loop.

Amp is in immaculate condition with original box. £195 SOLD

Wow! And I thought I'd had bad luck in December with the Post Office/Parcelforce losing a tele neck that I'd sold to a forumite.

Its still under investigation by UPS but so far its turned up in Coventry, Preston and Tamworth ! !  . . . . Which means its well and truly lost . . The guy I bought it from spent the money I paid him almost immediately and, like everyone else at Christmas, he cant afford to refund me £700 back until he has the compensation from UPS which could take up to 10 buisiness days . . . I paid £700 for the Champ on the 9 th December and UPS have lost it twice and found it once since then . . . Pissed off doesnt quite cover it . . . . . . I bought it via Facebook Marketplace . . .
