Slide holder?

I've googled this but can't find anything...
Is there some kind of device that will hold a slide in a handy place until you need it?
I.E. something that can clamp to a mic stand for instance? Or clip onto a guitar body/strap/headstock?
It should be quick to release the slide and quick to grab it again...
If there isn't something like that, there should be.

Paul Gilbert has a handy set of magnets under the scratchplate on some of his guitars for just that purpose. Of course, if your slide is glass, that won't work too well.

yes, I thought of Paul. I watch odd things by him on YouTube and he does a lot of slide now.  

I think a lot of people just stick it in a pocket ( is that a Diamond Bottleneck slide in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?).

Yup, pocket works for me
