Acoustic Drum Triggers

I'd like to add triggers to my drum kit to play grooves into my DAW (and/or EZdrummer2). Seems fairly easy with some triggers for the main drum shells and something to convert the triggers to a midi signal. The bit I can't quite figure out is the cymbal/hi-hat stuff, especially in the UK.
Has anyone else figured out a cost effective way of doing this that incorporates cymbals / hats?
