Stunning guitar this, and lightweight at only 6.60lb. All hand built by Dave Dearnaley, with an incredible Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. A guitar with these specs will cost you a pretty penny nowadays. It’s just had a pampering from Kevin at ‘Stairway to Kevin’ as well. It's all hand built with an old school Nitro finish, which I will say has a bit of a strong smell to it. Also when I bought it, It came without case etc, but I've just bought a brand new gator case as pictured to help with it’s travels.

Currently located in Portree, but will be over on the east coast on Monday if it helps, and of course I'm also happy to post.

Absolute no brainer of a bargain at £1395 3

Now sold, thanks to buyer and to forum.

  • Very nice,

If I’d not just spent a fortune on a master built telecaster I would have had this.
all the best with ur sale.

  • How would you describe the pickups? Subjective I know but
I’ve got Shed pickups in my blackguard and they sound awesome, the bridge is his take on the early esquire/ broadcaster type, which is so smooth and rocks when needed but backing off the volume a little gives plenty of tele twang. Neck pickup has a lovely ring to it and a clarity that makes chords and blues type stuff sound great.

This looks like an absolutely stunning guitar - I’m extremely tempted by this myself, depending on the neck and fret sizes…

Post now re-updated with neck measurements as it turns out I can't use a Vernier for toffee.

    Its a slim/medium C measuring approx 0.83 - 0.88

And before you ask, no, I cannot spectrophotometrically analyse the light wavelengths of the wood, or calculate the equilibrium moisture content, and no, I will NOT age the bone via X-ray...again. Just buy the damn guitar, and you can play it naked for all I care. =)
