Having recently had an op on my wrist with another to follow tomorrow, I bought the above electric piano because I thought I wouldn’t be able play again.
So, I have a brand new Kawai digital piano at a cost of £1950 that I want to trade for something of similar or above value, I have cash available, anyone interested?

hmmm, I am just starting to learn piano (just on a cheapo keyboard ATM) but am thinking of buying a digital piano in the new year, although I wasn't going to spend that sort of money. I do have my Larrivee OM05 to trade (can't really play guitar anymore due to arthritis). Not sure if that's of interest to you.

  • This is THE best digital stage piano out there.....

Its just a little heavy  (my RD2000 is 22kg and just manageable) without roadies... Its got stunning sounds and the best keyboard available (part of the weight...full length keys).

Of I wasnt gigging Id grab this.... have nowhere to store my RD just for gigging purposes.

I actually thought about posting a similar comment the other day - the action on these is, as you say, the best out there (by some distance) and the sounds are great (although there are far fewer of them compared to e.g. your Roland - it's definitely a stage piano, not a synth with a weighted keyboard).

However, it is insanely heavy - my RD700SX is 25kgs (steel chassis vs alu on the 2000) and I recently decided to replace it after having to lug it up two flights of stairs for a gig (during which the grab handle tore off my heavy-weight case). 35kgs (plus case) would not work with my increasingly middle-aged back...

Top-notch choice for a static studio or stage though (or if, as you say, you have roadies or a very accommodating bandmate).

(I'm only posting this because it's been withdrawn!)
