Yeah I'm liking this.  Only got the first track played so far,and it is gone 3am on new years day now,so maybe not the best time to be sampling the album, after rewatching Glastonbury legends, I'm also  pretty drunk......but nonetheless, this album is pretty damn good sounding so far.

Had a listen to a few tracks yesterday- it’s a superb professional sound and I’d be interested in hearing how the tracks were put together and the tools used (I assume drums were a plug-in? Were the guitars miced amps, or plugins, etc).

Has a Bon jovi/ Alice Cooper / ‘use your illusion’ era GnR vibe, which I liked.

Excellent. My kind of music and great to see the collaboration between forum members.

I just listened to the whole album while sorting out the voting for Solo of the Month and Riff of the Month, so if I've added up the scores wrong it's because I was distacted by the music.

Guitar amps were mic’d… nothing special, sm57 shoved in front… either a 5e3 or the 18watt… reverb added in post.

bass was DI’d - 

not sure about the @bezzer orchestra… I’m assuming he mic’d all the individual instruments and recorded them one by one

Exactly that ... not easy in a 1970s mid terrace.  Timpani was the worst ... neighbours were NOT happy.

I've had a listen.
These days my tastes have gone far more jazzy but I still enjoyed it. Obviously the bass was far far far too low in the mix!

The wife said "is that Def Leppard?" - and from her that's a compliment as she did like them back in the Pyromania / Hysteria era.

Nicely done!
