Free upgrade: now there is something you don't see often

Well strike me pink! Cole Clark have just announced a new, said-to-be-even-better, pickup system. That's one thing. But they have also announced that anyone with a current-model Cole Clark pickup system can have it as un upgrade, free of charge.

(My actual interest here? Well, I own two late model Cole Clark guitars which I could have upgraded. On the other hand, I have  never used the pickup in the 12-string at all, and tried out the pickup in the Angel exactly once, just to try it out, using the only amp I own, a $100 AA battery-powered toy. Should I have them upgraded to the new system? I suppose it would increase their resale value slightly. On the other hand I don't intend to sell the 12-string and I'd rather sell both technicals than the wonderful Angel III. So I'd be taking advantage of a remarkably generous free offer and gaining ... well nothing. I don't play amplified, doubt I ever will. So I guess I'll pass.)

But I thought I'd post this in case there are other Cole Clark owners here.
