Ball end classical strings

I keep seeing ball end classical strings online, mostly D’Addario XT. I’ve always used tie ends on my classicals (which I hate tieing) and ball end on everything else. What are your opinions of ball end for classical, please?

Easier to fit and a solution if you like the sound but the one set I tried, can’t remember the brand, sounded dead to me. A good halfway house are “bridge beads”, essentially a bead that you fit to the string that gives you a removable ball end. Easier to tie and allows you to use your preferred strings.

When I had a classical part of the fun for me was anchoring at the bridge. Google "Boy Scout knots" and have some fun

 Ball end nylon strings were originally  intended to be used on steel  strung  acoustic guitars and sometimes  called folk strings  . But the  range  has expanded and  most  big American string brands now offer so called classical strings with ball ends. Ernie Ball's Ernesto Palla    are as good as your going to get . Ball end strings will always have a smaller range to choose from , but if you find one  you like , your done .
