As you can see from the photos this is not a Burns Marquee in pristine condition. Before it came to it looks like it had something of a harder life. There are numerous dinks and knocks including a rather nasty one on the bottom edge near the jack socket. This has been stabilised with some dripped super glue. My intention was always to address this but I've never quite got around to it.
Although it could do with a set up it plays and sounds great. There was originally an issue with the tremelo block on these being made from zinc which made them become unstable due to wear. This one has a new replacement block to the correct spec supplied from the US by the inventor of the tremelo system. This makes a massive difference over the original badly manufactured part.

The miscast trem blocks on these really caused them to be horrible to set up so the new block really helps.
I often forget about the push-pull pot and how versatile it makes it.
