They are literally the only channel like this that sometimes get bass and drums into the studio to demonstrate stuff in band context.

I'll check it out. It's a long time since I watched any of their stuff

It wasn’t though was it - the point being made was “use a different preamp into the return” - they just happened to use that one 

The point being getting a nice clean tone from the amp by using a tube preamp and ignoring the bloody amp is not really in the spirit of 'getting a nice clean tone from the most popular gigging amp out there'. 

I usually like them and applaud them thinking up a new subject after all this time but that just made me laugh.
