    That’s very nifty!
     so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

    That’s a proper guitar - superb!!!

    Back in about 1999 I picked a Black 1990 LP Standard over one of these to replace my 1986 SG that was stolen. Wish I’d gone for the Howard Roberts.

    I still want to get one of these - a black one specifically.

    Lovely to see one in that finish.

    I'm always looking for interesting USA Hamers for sale.

    At the moment I'm looking for:
    * Hamer Watson, SS2, Vintage S, T62.
    * Music Man Luke 1, Luke II

    Please drop me a message.

    Very nice - I've come close to buying one a couple of times, but not had the pleasure yet. That looks lovely.

  • Cheers for the comments everyone. I had not even heard of these until this one came up. I did all the research I could.

    I hadn't used 490 pickups before either.
    They seemed bright at first and it took a while to EQ my THR30 to suit it. I choose a clean tone. Having done that I then tried a ES-339 with 57 classics through the same setting. The 339 growled, so it seems 57 classics are higher output. Surprising.

    The last owner took terrific care. No buckle rash nor even light scratches.
