Best currently available 6L6??

Been trying to sort out all the info available, huge range of opinions and comments about current 6L6s, any concensus? 

Tung Sol, JJ, EHX and TAD seem to be easily available in the UK, any strong preference?

It's for my Mesa Express 5:50. Would prefer it not to sound too 'hard' for lack of a better word.

I really like a 6L6 amp and had an Express+ 5:50 that I used Harma Cryos in (from Watford Valves) and was pretty happy with them.

I now am using a Cornell Romany 12 and started with a JJ 6L6GC (from Hot Rox). It was OK but I felt it could be improved upon and eventually settled on a TAD 6L6GC-STR RCA-Style black-plate (again from Hot Rox). It has has a really warm and full sound in the Romany and I've settled on it. Also distorts nicely when over driven - either via pedals or the attenuator.

^ The short bottle version of these are amazing - TungSol (6L6 GC-STR) now do a copy - I've got them in a Mesa Recto and they are pretty close!
