FOR SALE Yamaha SG2000

Here for sale is a very rare Yamaha SG2000 made in Japan in 1977, 

in Tobacco Sunburst. The Yamaha SG model SG-2000 became known as the Les Paul Killer.

This is the first issue of the SG2000 with the larger headstock,

and T-cross construction (i.e. the neck and central section of

the body are made from a single piece of timber, as opposed to 

the glued in neck of a Les Paul). This imparts a superior sustain 

to the guitar.

The guitar has been used and therefore has some surface marks to 

the body, which is structurally intact. The brass hardware has 

some minor tarnishing (to be expected on a 40+year old guitar).

 Pick ups are original and are coil tapped.

No issues with tuning stability or electrics.

Comes with a generic case.

I bought the SG last year. It was a guitar I've lusted after for a long time.
I hoped owning one would inspire me and boost my playing skills, unfortunately
the reality is somewhat different. It has become a rather expensive ornament that just 
hangs on the wall. I feel much more comfortable playing my cheap Telecaster Vintage V52.
