Small piece of anaemic rosewood required

I have a Fender bass with a chunk out of the fretboard and need a small piece of a similar colour to let in.

All the offcuts I have are dark, does anyone have a small piece I could have to match this please?

nothing that pale I'm afraid.  Thought I might have a piece of granadillo that would get close, but its a bit too red
