Damn good effort to all, was tough picking 3!
1 @Downbytheriver
2 @DartmoorHedgehog ;
3 @Roland ;
But once again, all of them are brilliant.
Without revealing too much of the intricacies of the final scoring process, I can say that the best scoring projects were:
1. Dartmoor_Hedgehog’s fabulous mandolin
2. Roland’s headless wonder
3. Paulnb57’s stylish six-string
for everyone else, an honourable mention and thank you for sharing your efforts.
So I ended up with a nice useable mando and a warm fuzzy feeling that people appreciated seeing the build thread - so win win
Thanks again folks.
EDIT: From my original entry post
"I'll post the build updates anyway - it's not as if I'm likely to win anyway"
Perhaps I need to be more optimistic
All were winners to be fair….
Im deffo up for another challenge…sooner the better for me, I like the process..
and thanks to @downbytheriver for organising!
Theme? The attraction for most people seems to be challenging themselves to do something. We’ve all got different experience, facilities, interests, and time. Rather than setting a challenge by outcome, such as Build a Telecaster, or Make a Pedal, we should choose a theme like Red or ‘69.
