Sold STC - FS Gibson ES135 - semi bare knuckles

Hi everyone - the time has come to move out my Gibson 135. I would say it’s in players grade condition. It has had the original p100’s swapped out for Bare knuckle p90s.
I am not sure which version they are but can verify the bare knuckle stamp on the bottom.

sounds and plays nicely.

it has some checking on the headstock ofhttps://imgur.com/HF0kXBz all places but nowhere else.

a few bumps and scrapes here and there - tried to photograph as best i can.

comes with a hard case.

im looking for £1350.

I've always liked the look of these too. I remember when they came out, I learned from the Guitarist magazine review (that was very favourable as I recall) that they have a 'chromite' centre block. Which apparently was a word dreamed up by Gibson from the latin names for Balsa wood: Ochroma Pyramidale and Ochroma Lagopus.

Nice guitar though - I had an HB version about 4 years back. I ended up having a few Florentine cuts at the time (ES-175, ES-225, ES-135, ES-137 Custom) that it went by the wayside. Always fancied another though....

Yeah it’s a nice guitar no two ways about it. Was gassing for a 330 when I bought this. That’s an itch that still needs scratching, but they’re rare as hens teeth at the moment. Plus I’m on the one in one out policy with mrs teafur, and a new one came in last week

Bare Knuckle make great P90s IMHO, better than the stock Gibbys 

if they’re BK half notes, then that’s one of the finest (again IMHO) p90s for jazz that I’ve ever played

Not sure which bk they are. The guitar came with the box for them in the case which I have subsequently way laid. But if memory serves me right they were relatively low output. Recent move means I’m still trying to locate stuff, and the multimeter is one of those items.
they certainly sound great.
