The purge continues. A lovely guitar with very little wear , just a bit on the 2nd and 3rd frets and a few light signs of playing - nothing you could call a ding and nothing that couldn't be polished out of the nickel or lacquer, personally I like the idea of a bit of patina though. Everything you read about these Elitists is bang on - Japanese guitar-making at its classy best. The case is in an equally good state - just that one nick and a couple of scuffs. I'm not looking for trades at the moment, if I think of anything I'll add it here. I'm not going to post it either I'm sorry to say , collection from York or meet up somewhere en route and payment in old-fashioned folding money please. All at a come-and-get-me price of £1350.

I used to own one of these and the quality was as good as any Gibson 330 I've had.

I bet that this is a really, really good guitar. I had an Elite (it was 2003, before they changed it to 'Elitist' (was it Ovation that objected to the Elite name?) Byrdland and it was fantastic.

I was offered a Gibson Byrdland at a very good price (something like £3500) at the time, but it didn't feel as nice as the Epi. And I say that as a Gibson fanboy.

If I didn't have a 330, this would have been of great interest. GLWTS.

Appreciated DB1 - it is really nice. I was hunting down a 330 when I stumbled on this and it ticked all the boxes . I'm determined to cut down the herd though and this one overlaps with another. I think it'll be a good buy for someone - they're terrific value.
