Good luck with that let only happening quickly........ have you tried Strings Direct Southend to see if they have a work around ? or another option ? Looks like they are still waiting stock for the JP switches

Guessing you have have a gig coming up.... you may have to use a different guitar mate

Bang on the money. I've sourced a regular switch on amazon. I'll just wire it as an ibanez jpm100 if I have to

Music Man can be tricky with replacement parts. I don't know if it's still the case but they have been known to require the old part to be sent to them before they'll send a new one out. 

Granted that was for a piezo preamp, so something consumable like a switch they're possibly a bit more relaxed about.
