Firstly, an ‘89 Gordon Smith Graduate in excellent condition. Handmade in Manchester and very much a nod to Les Pauls. Carved top, fully adjustable bridge, bound top & neck, coil-tapped humbuckers. Tobacco sunburst and in Gator hard case. Frets have almost no wear so probably been levelled at some point by last owner. I’ve got more photos if required. Collection from Maidstone, Kent hoped for… Oh and someone on the forum has owned this. Not sure who but I found a photo of this guitar when I was Googling the purchase. SOLD

Still up for sale:

One of the limited run Fender MIM Wilko Telecasters. Frets levelled this year so in great shape. It’s a Classic 60s Tele with red scratchplate but the neck may be a little fuller? One ding to front edge has been touched up with nail polish (!) and there are a few other minor marks to body. Has 3 prints but gigbag is missing. Any questions please ask.

You should advertise the GS on the GS fan club on Facebook. I think it would go down well there as it's keenly priced IMO.

I think what they meant was that your guitar had been acquired on the same Facebook group recently and was being re-sold. I said that didn't make sense as you're not on Facebook. Have you had it long?

Ignore me. It turns out the moderator of the GS Fan Page on FB had already spotted your guitars on Gumtree and had posted a link to it. There's a fair amount of interest (in both the GS and the Wilko)...

The Byzantine world of social media. I bought the guitar on eBay early last year. Had lots of Gumtree interest but mainly from gents wanting to arrange courier and send money via PayPal which I suspect might be unwise on my part…

Yes - that would be a wise decision. Be patient, I think it'll sell soon. I'm really tempted myself as a former owner of about 3 GS guitars, but I'm on a warning at the moment from the powers that be.

I know nothing about GS’s but I’ve had a couple of Wilko Teles in the past and they were great. I’m a wilko fan but even if you aren’t they are a really nice solid Tele - both of mine were very smooth players and I paid more than this one is going for !

Went to BBB2005 of this parish which is a pleasing outcome. Just need to make a decision on keeping or selling the Wilko now. Thanks for your input too McToot.
