SOLD 2016 Custom Collection Time Machine 59 Journeyman Relic Fender Telecaster

CMW335CMW335 Frets: 2077
edited March 2022 in Guitars £
Ok it won’t be difficult to see where this one has come from, acquired today in px and will certainly enjoy while in my possession it’s a corker!! Ultimately though it’s got to go as I have decided on 2 guitars to keep which are a 1963 Tele and a 1958 J-200 so no shame in being third choice against those I’d say. The relic is superbly accurate and it’s light as a feather.

Will match the previous price £2495 and will post at cost.

Trades I’m really trying not to but you never know, try me. No don’t. Ok do, no harm in asking

Should be approx 0.790” at the first fret and 0.970” at the twelfth - fairly slim at the nut and fairly fat at the octave.

@th22 1st fret 20.9mm 12th Fret 24.9mm so @fretfinder  pretty much called it when you convert those to inches.

Oh well that's that. I kept coming back to this, both on the current and previous listings. Never owned a good Tele but starting to think I might like one and this ticked most of my boxes.  In the end I just wasn't confident about how well I'd get on with the neck shape, so different from anything I'm familiar with.

Congratulations on the sale, I’m sure it’ll be a great guitar for the buyer.
