SOLD FS: 1977 Fender Stratocaster 8lb 4oz

(Sold) A lovely old 77 strat, the neck, pickups and pots are all dated 77 and at 8lb 4oz a bit of a feather weight for a 70s strat. It's had a refret and the frets are excellent. It's had some use in 45 years and has the odd minor chip and ding, and one more notable chip on the lower back edge (photographed) it all adds to the character!  All round it's a great old Strat, fully working, well set up and it plays and sounds great. Comes with the original case, trem arm, and a white back plate that looks like it's been with the guitar for many years.

I've looked at this longingly on a number of occasions.

It appears, though, that it being Lady McToot's birth year is not an acceptable reason for purchase. My response that one is never too old to start learning the guitar was met with her more sinister version of the Paddington Stare.
