Fitting a string tree

What's Hot
I need to fit a string tree to a hot rod stratocaster.

Please could I ask which product people recommend? It's just the high E that needs it, so only the one tree.

GraphTech TUSQ ones are self-lubricating. The "ivory" coloured ones eventually discolour enough that they merge with the colour of the headstock.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

I think the standard 'butterfly' Fender-style ones have never been improved on. It's important that you get the proper high-quality type with a slight radius on the underside of the 'wings', but they work as well or better than anything else.

Although there is this, which I haven't tried personally but which *should* work better, in theory...
